BRIEF: To celebrate a record year, ElevateBio hosted their annual holiday party at Boston’s historic House of Blues, right next to Fenway Park. These images would be used in recruiting, but mostly as a “thank you” to the employees who worked so hard, all year long.
PRODUCTION: Huge dark rooms can be a challenge for photography - so I had to be pretty selective of my shooting process. I pre-programmed two settings into my camera for tonight, one to use flash, and one to use the ambient room light. As a bonus, I brought a light stand and a setup to mount the flash off-camera, for some fun options, like the CEO’s speech.
